The R.O.M.E. strength lies indeed in first instance in the already existing synergy among partners as well as in the management capacity and long expertise of the Coordinator, hosting several companies in its technology park. Secondly, SMEs Consortium and the Coordinator both have been supporting SMEs for a long time and they are familiar with small business issues, thereby making the R.O.M.E. proposal suitable for properly overcoming the barriers to the digital transformation. The R.O.M.E. services catalogue covers the key technologies High Performance Computing, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence - the main technology - as well as Advanced Digital Skills such as IoT, Blockchain and Computer Vision. The R.O.M.E. expected results for SMEs are: establishing networks to strengthen their investment capacity, creating shared investment processes and facilitating the industrialization of R&D projects, also in order to promote future mergers and integrations between similar realities to acquire or strengthen the competitiveness in a specific sector.
