Brussels reopens Women TechEU: €75,000 of non-dilutive cash for women-led deep tech, on a rolling clock.
💶GRANT
Women TechEU's third edition opens
The EIC has launched the third edition of Women TechEU (2026-2028), putting €12 million of equity-free grants on the table. 160 startups will each receive €75,000 in non-dilutive funding, plus a business development programme: one-to-one mentoring, training, and matchmaking with investors and corporates.
It is open to women-led deep tech startups across 43 eligible countries. The eligibility phase opened 1 June, with weekly cut-offs every Tuesday at 17:00 Brussels from 30 June. Full proposals open in July, with four deadlines.
🎯WHY IT MATTERS
Cheap capital that costs no equity
At pre-seed, €75,000 that takes no equity is rare, and the rolling eligibility window removes the usual deadline scramble: clear the check early, then choose your full-proposal slot.
The catch is the funnel. The grant is a runway extender, not a round, and the field is competitive. Treat it as validation and a warm path into the EIC investor network rather than the raise itself.
