EZMEMS provides DETERMINATION, a ‘Smart Disposable multisensor' that transform simple medical or pharma products (infusion lines, fittings, plastic bags, bioreactor, transportation line) into 'Smart products' in an easy and cost-effective way. The multisensor is non-invasive, has low footprint and provides robust multi sensing (pressure, flow, temperature, conductivity, viscosity, turbidity and pH) and fully wireless connectivity (no battery, no wires, energy harvesting) at the edge, making Internet of Medical Things possible. EZMEMS' multisensor technology is based on advanced polymeric multilayered matrix composite structure integrating conductive piezoresistive & structural elements. Each layer implements a specific function (mechanical layers, sensing layer, interconnection layer and integration layer). The integration layer can be modified according to the application requirements & to the polymer of the product. DETERMINATION can be fabricated in mass production facilities.
