Association de Coordination Technique Agricole
The Association de Coordination Technique Agricole (ACTA) is a Paris-based Digital Innovation Hub that coordinates and represents France's network of 19 technical agricultural institutes (ITA), the country's main bodies for applied agricultural research and technology transfer to farmers. Drawing on roughly 2,400 staff across some 200 sites, ACTA supports the agroecological and digital transition of French agriculture, working on competitiveness, climate change and digital farming alongside partners such as INRAE.
As a DIH it helps agricultural and forestry businesses adopt digital technologies, offering knowledge transfer, applied research, digital services (security, hosting, project management via Acta Digital Services) and ecosystem coordination. It serves farmers, agricultural cooperatives and agri-food SMEs across metropolitan France and overseas territories.
