About this hub

The digitalisation of Public Administrations and their services is a fundamental element to ensure European competitiveness, given the influence PA entertains as a stimulus of innovation. Thanks to its digitalisation and to the integration of digital technologies (i.e. AI and CS) in its processes and services, PAs will benefit from increased efficiency. The focus of the Hub Digitalization and Innovation of Public Services (DIPS) is to implement and support the digital transformation of PAs and local companies (Large companies and SMEs) that work with PAs, leveraging on the vast experience of its partners on providing services and solutions for the Public Sector. The geographical focus will be in the Province of Trento IT but with an extended radius towards nearby regions, since the goal is to bring at a national level the solutions developed in the Trentino ecosystem for the challenges and needs of the PA and supplier companies. DIPS consortium includes 8 partners to cover all the core expertise and key roles needed to address DIPS goals: experts in networking, associations deeply rooted in the local ecosystem that can easily reach local players, technological and research experts, experts in access to finance services and finally partners with extensive experience in training workers and professionals. The main objectives are to a) stimulate the ability of the PA to generate demand for innovative digital services and products and the parallel ability of supplier companies to satisfy it; b) grant more efficient and quality services for citizens and businesses; c) manage both the organization side and the human capital of PA through training; d) support the growth of PA supplier companies and e) the whole ecosystem. The services offered will cover testing of infrastructures in advanced digital infrastructures and co-design in common workspaces; training and courses; networking services and dissemination activities; to strategic support services to access to finance.
