About this hub

“InnoVA” project aims to create a digital innovation ecosystem focused on the issues of video analysis and video surveillance for the benefit of both public administrations and private companies. The main goal of InnoVA hub is to spread the knowledge of the potential offered by video analysis, to make the available solutions accessible to different types of users and in different contexts or to develop, in some cases, ad hoc solutions for specific user needs through special demonstrators, to support users in adopting the most innovative technologies in operational and non-pilot contexts, to train potential users in the use of the proposed technologies and platforms and to show the significant benefits deriving from the adoption of intelligent video surveillance solutions together with the containment of related costs. To this must be added the value deriving from the establishment of an Italian community of both sector specialists and end users, from whose dialogue solutions specifically tailored to the real needs of individual territories and different types of users will be born, thus stimulating the competitiveness of the system and increasing the quality of life. InnoVA hub aims to support a wide typology of public administrations (Local Authorities, ports, Defense), present throughout the national territory, in providing new and powerful services to its users, providing Decision Support Systems useful for govern the respective areas of relevance and spread a digital culture within the same public administration in line with the OECD Recommendations on Digital Government Strategies (2014). InnoVA hub plans to implement a wide variety of services which, have been designed to be able to operate in a strictly synergistic way with each other.
