AREA Science Park is a system based on innovation, digital transformation, research and the development of new high technology businesses. This has been realized thanks to the partnership with primary tech actors that are tenants in our campuses and thanks to a vast set of top end/frontier tech infrastructures (ex: AREA owns and run a Synchrotron light machine). Non profit Organization status Area Science Park is a public national research organization that promotes the development of innovation processes. Thus, AREA Science Park is a non profit public body that operates under direct control of the MIUR - Ministry of Education, Research and University.
