The EDIH Move2Digital will act as a one-stop shop for SMEs in the French SUD Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region to support their digital transformation and will position supporting activities on Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT). This is in line with two of the core technologies of DIGITAL, i.e. AI and Cybersecurity. Also it addresses an additional key technological focus, consistent both with AI and cybersecurity as well as regional background and assets, i.e. IoT. Move2Digital will address the seven strategic industrial sectors of the region, namely Greentech, Chemical industry, Energy, Health, Space & safety, Blue economy, Agri/aroma & fragrance, representing a potential of 1400 SMEs with needs in terms of digital transformation. Based on a consortium composed of industrial and technological clusters and leading academic and research entities, Move2Digital will rely on a strong digital ecosystem composed of a significant corpus of solution providers and on an interconnected network of active research laboratories in these key digital domains. A portfolio of 17 dedicated services, complement to the existing regional offer, will be proposed to regional SMEs and entities, but also coming from other EDIHs, gathered around 4 pillars: Test before invest (incl. awareness rising and diagnostic), Innovation ecosystem & networking, Support to find investment, Skills & training for upskilling the workforce for these advanced digital technologies. With a not-for-profit goal, Move2Digital will play an active brokering role both at the regional and European levels by networking with other EDIHs. A specific concern will handle ethic issues towards ensuring safety, privacy, and maximising societal and environmental welfare, by setting up a dedicated ethic board. This will aim to validate that trustworthy digital solutions are proposed, ensuring that end-users are confident in testing and adopting trustful digital solution technologies.
