About this hub

This project proposal envisages the creation of a European Digital Innovation Hub by the name of Regional Center for Digital Solutions and Innovations NCIZ (RCDSI NCIZ) on the territory of Industrial Park Sofia-Bozhurishte. The project aims to construct innovative digital infrastructure supporting the digital transformation of the companies in the field, mostly SME and small mid-caps, as well as public sector organisations performing non-profit activities in view of increasing their competitiveness through assimilation and implementation of the Industry 4.0 paradigm. An innovative research infrastructure will be built to serve the area's investor companies as well as future entrepreneurs, researchers, innovators, scientists, citizens, local and regional administrations. The centerpiece of the center will be a virtual reality lab that will provide users with 3D laser visualization of buildings, machines and new products before launching them. This will also help to stimulate innovation and the introduction of new technologies, increase the technological potential for staff qualification. The implementation of the project will also increase the interaction and exchange of knowledge between scientific organizations, business business and the municipality.
