About this hub
The Slovak Centre for Digital Innovations EDIH is best positioned to support the ambitions of the Digital Europe Programme 2021-2027, designed to ensure that Europe embraces the digital transformation of the economy and society. ur EDIH, the Slovak Center for Digital Innovations was founded by industry associations. We managed to achieve unique situation. Representatives of key industries, engineering, chemistry, IT, electrical engineering, pulp and paper, have agreed on the need to have an EDIH that will provide what they really need. We know the needs of companies and we will put them first. Most important public research institutions in Slovakia have agreed with this approach and become our partners. Our experts come from the most important technical research institutions, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Slovak Academy of Sciences. We have access to more than 100 IT companies associated in the IT Association of Slovakia and 25 industrial research organizations associated in the Association of Industrial R&D Organizations. Some of them decided to participate on SCDI activities as the Affiliated Entities We have partners specialized in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital skills development and innovations management. We see digitization as a tool to meet the transformation goals of companies. The result will be savings, higher productivity, business growth, meeting environmental goals and employment in better-ranked positions.mart processes and technologies are in the very center of our attention. We bring added value to the “digitization as usual” areas of embedded systems and the Internet of Things as well as in in the field of artificial intelligence, advanced data analysis and high-performance computing. We want to do the digital transformation correctly. This means responsibly from an environmental point of view as well as from a perspective of a workforce that may be at risk.
