Caucasus Clean Energy I is a renewable energy fund managed by Schulze Global Georgia Partners, focused on Georgia and the wider Caucasus region. It invests in small and medium-sized run-of-river hydropower plants of 10-20 MW in Georgia, both operational and greenfield, and is backed by GEEREF (the EU Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund, managed by the European Investment Fund on behalf of the European Commission), the Development Bank of Austria and FMO, the Dutch development bank.
