About CMF-FTTF
CMF-FTTF is a technology-transfer fund managed by Fraunhofer Technologie-Transfer Fonds GmbH, backing spin-outs from Fraunhofer research institutes across Germany. FTTF's active investment period ran 2019-2023, during which it financed 39 spin-offs. In January 2026 Fraunhofer and the EIF announced the successor vehicle TT49 (planned capitalisation EUR 90 million), managed by TT49 Management GmbH, with an expanded mandate covering spin-offs from DLR, Helmholtz, Leibniz and Max Planck institutes alongside Fraunhofer.
