About CMF-SET Ventures

CMF-SET Ventures is a climate fund managed by SET Management B.V., the manager behind Amsterdam-based SET Ventures, which invests in digital technology for a carbon-free energy system. The fund focuses on energy and environment within Germany and the wider region, and is backed by the European Investment Fund. SET Ventures has been active in clean energy since 2007 and most recently closed its fourth fund at EUR 200 million in September 2024, backing 20-25 Series A companies with initial cheques of EUR 2-5 million and up to EUR 15 million per company.
