SMERemediumCap is a mid-market turnaround private equity fund managed by SMERemediumCap and focused on Greece. It raised EUR 142.5 million at its 2021 final close from investors including the EIF and EBRD, and invests in Greek small and medium-sized enterprises that are over-leveraged or underperforming but viable, providing equity and quasi-equity financing to support restructuring and long-term capital growth. A successor vehicle, SMERemediumCap II, is now also active.
